Three new powders.

Three new lines have joined the Yekta spice range: Tomato Powder, Mint Powder and Shallot Powder, each in a 90g pack.

Tomato Powder

Ripe tomatoes dried and milled to a fine powder. It dissolves straight into stews, soups and rice, and gives depth and colour without the water a paste or a fresh tomato brings.

Mint Powder

Dried mint, milled fine. A spoonful finishes a bowl of aash or doogh, lifts yoghurt and kashk, and blooms in hot butter for the classic mint oil poured over soup.

Shallot Powder

Persian shallot, moosir, dried and ground. It carries the same sharp, savoury note as the whole shallot, ready to stir into yoghurt dips, dressings and marinades.
